What We’ve Accomplished
Santa Clara County’s greenhouse gas emissions are mainly reduced by alternative fuel vehicles, with almost 50 percent of those being Biodiesel fueled vehicles.
Over 75 percent of Santa Clara County’s petroleum savings is from alternative fuel vehicles. Of those vehicles, the majority are Ethanol , Biodiesel, and Natural Gas.
Supporting alternative fuel and innovative, clean technology will continue to decrease our county’s dependence on oil and improve the air quality for all.
